December 2021: I have accepted a role as organiser for undergraduate research projects in our department. I’ll be linking up staff and students for final year dissertation projects.

March 2021: Our proof-of-concept work on sampling terrestrial DNA from air is out in PeerJ. We show that animal and human DNA can be sampled from a room and the species identified. Watch our youtube videos for coverage of this work. Other press includes BioScience, Daily Mail, technologynetworks, gizmodo. Many other exciting projects in the works.

January 2021: I am taking 11 months maternity leave following the birth of my daughter.
